Concrete house in Madrid, Spain by A-cero

The concrete finish still shows marks left by formwork.
This in a way shows the "inner" architecture, not covered by second rate finishes or hiding buildings behind accepted ways of completing projects. and thus unfinished concrete becomes a finish in itself.

Montecito Residence by Olson Sundberg

This residence incorporates extremely modern aspects & and blends it with simple purposeful design elements,  ie. inflow of natural light and ventilation.

entrance, the rusted deteriorated look of the wall panels reduces the impact of human influence on the serine "untouched" wilderness embraced by the building.

Urrezkoenea House in Getaria by peña ganchegui y asociados

Villa seems to protrude from the hill top. from the other end the roof of the villa blends with the landscape and continues to the end of the building forming a rooftop garden. Due to the gale force winds and harsh weather conditions the rugged concrete provides not only shelter physically but mentally for occupants.

Japenese Architecture by Hiroshi Nakamura

Modern Japanese house in between trees, almost as if it were dropped into place.
house and trees seem to be twisted together.
Multiple tiers protrude into the thicket, providing the respective rooms within the tiers, an un obstructed view of the surroundings.
An unexpected view from the inside of the building. quiet, tranquil and secluded, very similar to the surrounding....

The Fish House, Singapore, By GUZ Architects

The pool flows from the sea facing view and around joining the the house almost seamlessly to its surroundings.
The house is simple and yet it boasts extreme luxury, not only in the finishings but in the "connections" with each adjacent detail and aspect , increasing the overall impact of each space.

Indoor Pool, In the woods..somewhere.

I dont know exactly where this is or who designed it but its one of my favorite
designs, its intriguing and mysterious setting brings the whole design together
"It just makes sense"
